Millbrook wins recognition again
Queenstown’s five-star Millbrook resort has once again been named among the top 25 hotels in Australia, New Zealand the South Pacific.
Millbrook is one of only three New Zealand properties to make the list in the prestigious Travel & Leisure annual World’s Best reader’s poll.
In the magazine’s 11th annual poll, published in the August edition and online at www.travelandleisure.com/worldsbest, Millbrook ranked 14th behind world-renowned Huka Lodge, which came in top of the list overall.
Millbrook first featured in the top 25 list in 2004, and in 2005 achieved global recognition by being named among the top 500 hotels in the world.
Travel & Leisure is the world’s leading travel magazine with a circulation of almost a million. In the poll, readers were asked to rate hotels on rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food, and value.
Millbrook General Manager Jan Hunt said to be included in the top 25 hotels list was a huge accolade for the hotel, its management and team.
“It is especially rewarding when you know that it is our guests who have rated us so highly against some renowned competition,” she said.
“We are a large resort but pride ourselves on delivering a very personalised and dedicated service, and our stunning location and premier facilities obviously also play a very big part.”
