Representatives from Minnesota were in the UK for a sales mission in the lead up to the NFL International Series at Wembley Stadium.

They were in town to show that trade, tourism and sport go well together.

Representatives from Bloomington CVB, Explore Minnesota Tourism, Mall of America, Meet Minneapolis CVA and Visit St Paul met with tour operators, trade and media to talk about the wide variety of attractions that Minnesota has to offer.

Topping off the successful sales mission, the Minnesota Vikings toppled Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL International Series at Wembley Stadium.

With more shoreline than California, Florida and Hawaii combined, Minnesota is home to more than 10,000 lakes offering a range of outdoor activities including fishing, boating and water sports.

Bloomington is home to the famous Mall of America, the largest retail and entertainment complex in America. The complex has more than 520 shops, Nickelodeon Universe and SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium.
