Monarch adds Canaries flights
Monarch Scheduled is adding two routes to the Canary Islands from Luton this winter.
The low cost scheduled arm of Monarch Airlines is to serve Gran Canaria and Lanzarote from November 1 in addition to existing flights to Tenerife from Luton.
The new services, with fares starting at £67 one-way, bring Monarch Scheduled’s network up to 18 routes from Luton, Gatwick and Manchester.
Commercial director Jonathan Crick said: “The Canaries have become an increasingly popular destination for independent travellers in recent years. The islands have seen a surge in people buying second homes, as well as golfers, walkers, watersports enthusiasts and holidaymakers looking to book their own accommodation on the internet.”
