Monarch adds new winter flights
Monarch has added new routes to popular winter sun destinations from London and regional airports from October when all of its flights will be operating as scheduled services for the first time.
New to the winter 15/16 programme are flights from Birmingham to Lanzarote, Madeira, Larnaca, Gran Canaria and Turin; from Leeds Bradford to Alicante; from Gatwick to Alicante, Madeira and Menorca; from Luton to Gibraltar and from Manchester to Alicante, Gibraltar, Gran Canaria and Palma.
Monarch will also have new services from Gatwick to Friedrichshafen and from Birmingham to Turin, which will give access to some of Austria and Italy’s most popular ski resorts.
Head of network development Marjan Schoeke said: "Following the review of our network last year we have created a schedule which we believe will be very attractive to our customers. In particular, for our most popular winter destinations, we have made our flights more frequent and are offering flight-times that are more convenient."
Monarch plans to roll out its winter programme over the next few weeks.
