Monarch adds routes from Manchester
New scheduled services to Ibiza and Jerez are being launched by Monarch from Manchester Airport next summer.
The low fares airline is also adding summer flights to Lanzarote and increasing frequency to Palma, bringing its scheduled network up to 11 destinations.
The additional services will bring the total number of scheduled Monarch flights operating from the airport next summer to 200 a week.
Ibiza flights will run five times a week from May 24 with fares starting at £40.99 one-way.
Jerez will be served four times a week with rates starting at £45.99 one-way.
Palma will be served twice daily from Manchester in summer 2007, while flights to Lanzarote which start this winter will continue into the summer. Tickets have now gone on sale.
Monarch scheduled services managing director Tim Jeans said: “Manchester continues to be Monarch’s largest UK base and we are delighted to be expanding services from here once again and bringing more low fares to the people of the North West.
“We are confident that the addition of Ibiza to the network will be hugely popular with our passengers and means that Monarch is the only scheduled airline to serve the three main Balearic Islands from the airport, with 22 flights a week now operating to Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.”
