Monarch expands from Gatwick
Ibiza is being added to the Monarch scheduled network from Gatwick next summer as part of an expanded flying programme.
The airline is starting five flights a week to the Balearic island from May 25, 2007 with prices starting at £36.99 one way.
Monarch is adding frequency to other services from Gatwick, with Malaga up to 17 flights a week, Alicante, 15 a week, Granada, five a week, Lisbon 10 a week, Faro, nine a week and Lanzarote two a week.
The addition of the Gatwick flights means that Ibiza will be served from Monarch’s four UK bases next summer with a total of 20 flights a week.
