Monarch unveils new single-brand trade website
Monarch has officially launched its new trade website, monarchagents.co.uk, after a three-week trial.
The site, which uses just the Monarch brand, has been created following the decision to ditch the Cosmos, Avro and Somewhere2Stay brands.
Monarch announced in October that it would only use the Monarch brand for summer 2016.
Monarch Tour Operations sales director Gary Anslow said the new website has been designed based on feedback about its former trade websites.
Agents had complained about search restrictions on the old websites, which were also plagued with server issues in their early days.
Anslow said the new site allows agents to select multiple airports and destinations, and navigate between various options including resort, price, departure date and board basis.
It also has a revised late deals function where agents can filter against a series of options.
"The majority of the holidays we sell are booked online, so it’s critical that we provide agents with all of the options and alternatives they might require in order to present to their customers – we feel the new site does this," said Anslow.
The existing cosmosagents.co.uk will continue to operate until the vast majority of agents have switched across, he added.
Agents’ login credentials are the same for both sites.
