Monday morning blues?
Research says that you not only have Monday morning blues but around three this afternoon, you will hit a bump in the road that makes Monday even tougher as you start thinking about next weekend.
The Mole has the perfect antidote to any type of Monday blues – the real Blues, the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
We also know that Aussies have massive amounts of untaken leave, so at three today or before them, why not think about your next break away and why not, with spring in the air and some great places to go right on your doorstep, wherever you live, get rid of some of that untaken leave and think about amid week break, because prices arr lower, but if a weekend break is your thing, then go for it!
For Melburnians, why not try a weekend or mid week break in the Yarra Valley or if you live in Adelaide in the Barossa or if you live in Melbourne or Adelaide, why not a weekend or midweek break along the Great Ocean Road.
If you live in Brisbane when did you last take a trip along the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast and of course if you live in Perth you have the wonderful Margaret River on your doorstep.
We sometimes forget that people from all over the world travel thousands of miles to see these amazing locations.
Recently as a Sydneysider, The Mole visited the stunning Hunter Valley and also last year the South Coast and Southern Highlands and they were fabulous.
This week you will hear about a great Mole weekend in the Blue Mountains, and what an amazing location that is, only a little more than an hour from Sydney, with hundreds of thousands of acres of blue eucalyptus wilderness right on your doorstep or if wilderness is not your thing, the excellent shops and restaurants of Leura and the amazing collection of great places to stay and eat throughout the region.
The Mole will be revealing another great weekend experience with Luxury Car Hire, www.luxurycarhire.com.au with, yes you guessed it, the wind blowing through what little hair The Mole has left, in one of Luxury Car Hire’s fabulous sports car rentals, a Mercedes 320CLK soft top – a real luxury and discovering one of those hidden gem hotels, a timeless classic, redolent of British country house hotels, Katoomba’s Mountain Heritage Hotel and Spa Retreat www.mountainheritage.com.au – and that is what we did, retreat in the opulent classic comfort of this great hotel, perched overlooking some of the Blue Mountains’ finest scenery.
So, forget the blues and discover the real Blues, join The Mole this week in the fantastic Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
