More Carnival ships skip calls to avoid Hurricane Erin
Carnival Cruise Line revised cruise itineraries of additional ships to avoid the impact of Hurricane Erin.
Port calls were scrapped for Carnival Vista and Carnival Mardi Gras.
Carnival Vista skipped a call at Half Moon Cay on Tuesday due to the risk of storm surge.
Ships tender offshore at the private destination.
Carnival Mardi Gras scrapped a visit to Grand Turk earlier this week.
“Our crew is taking wonderful care of guests, and while we look for an alternative port, it’s not always possible because of distance and space available,” Carnival Brand Ambassador John Heald posted online.
“Our Fleet Operations Center and all the other people that work so hard, including the captains and crew, will take great care of you and keep you safe.”
The cruise line had earlier revised the itinerary of the Carnival Sunshine to avoid Bermuda.
