More shame for Brits abroad
A British tourist has reportedly been arrested on the island of Crete after he allegedly bit off part of a barman’s nose.
According to the Daily Express an un-named 22-year-old appeared in Iraklion court on Friday and could face a lengthy prison sentence if he is found guilty.
The newspaper reports that 29-yar-old barman Mantheos Kalogerakis, from the resort of Malia, claims he was attacked without any provocation by the man, who had been drinking with friends. The barman reportedly appeared in court wearing a “huge plaster” across his face.
