Thursday, 10 Apr, 2006 0

The most-sought after in-flight amenity may be a surprise: clean and roomy toilets.

TripAdvisor found more one third of respondents cited cleaner and more spacious bathrooms as the most important comfort feature aboard a flight.

Coming in second: blankets at 27%.

Other desirable in-flight creature comforts worth noting: noise-canceling headphones, toiletry kits and anti-germ products.

Bottled water was the most valued complimentary food or beverage. Fruits and vegetables came in second.

A video screen at every seat was the most important feature, according to almost half of the travelers.

And what would respondents most likely pay for?

More than half said larger seats and better legroom.

Second choice: a bed.
