Mr and Mrs Smith co-founder to speak at CLIA Expo
Mr & Mrs Smith co-founder has been announced as the keynote speaker at the CLIA UK & Ireland Luxury Expo.
James Lohan developed Mr & Mrs Smith, a collection of stylish boutique hotels, into a company with online booking, 24-hour reservation team and three tiered membership programme.
He has opened offices in New York and Melbourne.
James will share his expertise with agents at the expo in Dover on September 2 and 3 when travel agents will also have the opportunity to visit three cruise ships – Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity and Seabourn Sojourn .
Delegates will also have the opportunity to ‘virtually’ visit another luxury cruise ship – Regent Seven Seas’ Voyager which will be docked in Southampton.
A ship tour will be filmed on September 2 and the footage will be shown to agents at the Expo the next day.
CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: "There are many similarities within the boutique hotel sector and luxury cruising which last year saw a 10 per cent increase in sales, with summer ultra-luxury cruises increasing by a striking 30 per cent."
