MSC Cruises cements agreement with LEGO

Friday, 31 Oct, 2014 0

MSC Cruises and the LEGO Group have joined forces to create the first-ever LEGO-themed playrooms at sea.

The new play areas will debut aboard MSC Armonia, which is currently being lengthened and refitted as part of the cruise line’s £160 million Renaissance Programme.

Further – and larger – LEGO play areas will be included in two ships currently being  built and scheduled for delivery in 2017.

The move heralds enhancements to the MSC Cruises’ kids’ clubs, which will see separate clubs and facilities created for five age groups, namely Baby (under 3s); Mini (3-6 years); Junior (7-11 years); Young (12-14 years) and Teen (15-17 years).

All three ships featured in the LEGO tie-up will have two kids’ clubs – the Mini Club and Junior Club – fitted out in the LEGO brick style.
