MSC Cruises eases testing for US ships
MSC Cruises will next week implement new health protocols for passengers sailing out of US.
The update comes following the removal of the CDC’s cruise ship monitoring program.
MSC currently has two ships based in Florida, MSC Seashore in Miami and MSC Divina at Port Canaveral.
Children unvaccinated for Covid-19 aged two years and older are required to show proof of a negative test taken within three days of embarkation
Fully vaccinated passengers sailing six nights or longer from US ports must also show proof of a negative test.
Fully vaccinated passengers on shorter cruises are not required to take a test although it is still recommended.
These updated protocols are still subject to the requirements of destinations the ships visit.
