MSC Cruises shifting Meraviglia out of New York in 2026
MSC Cruises is shifting ship Meraviglia out of New York to Miami in late 2026, leading to dozens of cancelations.
The cruise line has scrapped New York cruises from Nov. 8, 2026 to April 11, 2027.
MSC Meraviglia has been a fixture at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal since 2023.
From April 2026 it will sail in Europe and then deploy to Miami for the winter Caribbean season.
The change is to meet the added demand in South Florida, it says.
“In response to the demand we are seeing, this will mark the first season with four ships homeporting in Miami,” the cruise line said.
Meraviglia will join MSC World America, MSC Poesia, and MSC Seaside at MSC’s new terminal at PortMiami.
The ship will offer six- and-eight-night cruisesand will call to Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and more.
Guests booked on the canceled cruises can rebook or opt for a credit or full refund.
