MSC Seascape to homeport in New York City

New York City will be the backdrop for MSC Cruises’ newest flagship MSC Seascape during a naming ceremony at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.

It takes place on 7 December 2022.

Academy Award-Winning star Sophia Loren will carry out her role as godmother to her 18th MSC Cruises ship.

MSC Seascape will be the first MSC ship to be named in New York.

MSC Seascape will sail year-round cruises from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal beginning in April 2023.

Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman said: “We are pleased to celebrate this momentous milestone in New York City, which holds a special place in our Group’s history.”

MSC Seascape will sail to Miami immediately after the ceremony for an inaugural season in the Caribbean.

MSC Seascape will offer two different seven-night itineraries from PortMiami:
