National recruits to focus on business car rental
National Car Rental is boosting support for the business travel sector by recruiting Colin O’Keefe as director of international accounts in its EMEA corporate sales team.
He joins having spent six years working with the Sabre Travel Network as director for car distribution and development EMEA. He has also held roles with General Motors (Vauxhall/Opel), Europcar and Budget Rent a Car.
His focus is to work with business travel management companies as well as managing key international corporate accounts with significant cross border travel, National said.
National has already secured preferred supplier status with a number of leading providers in the sector and the company is also working with several international airlines with a focus on the business travel sector.
“The business travel sector provides enormous opportunities for the development of National’s services,” said O’Keefe.
“In particular we have some terrific opportunities to grow our business working in partnership with a number of business travel management companies and business airlines, providing international corporates with a range of vehicle rental services that support employees travelling abroad and fulfil duty of care responsibilities.”
