NCL signs deal with Amadeus
Norwegian Cruise Lines has signed its first UK deal with Amadeus in a move to further increase the booking options for agents.
Trials of Amadeus Cruise have already taken place with Bolsover Cruise Club, Page & Moy and Cumbria Cruise Club with a full roll out expected during the summer.
The GDS tie-up will complement the company’s existing Freestyle Live internet booking system and Freestyle Connect call centre.
NCL described Amadeus Cruise as a “seamless booking system” for agents with simple point-to-click functionality with deck maps, real time cabin availability, flights, activities and excursions.
“NCL is demonstrating a full commitment to its travel partners with the on-going system upgrades which are progressively making it easier to work with us,” said NCL director of passenger service Sally-Anne Beasley.
