Nepal allows some international services to resume
Nepal has permitted a limited number of flights from selected air hubs including China, Qatar and Turkey. It made the decision due to travel companies charging extortionate fares for chartered flights.
Rajan Pokhrel, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, said that two weekly flights are allowed to and from both China and Qatar, although China hasn’t yet given the green light for its citizens to travel overseas again.
The only other international flights are on the Kathmandu-Delhi route as part of a Nepal-India travel corridor.
