New appointments for AA and Jamaica Tourist Board
American Airlines has appointed Don Langford as its new managing director European Services based in Hounslow.
Langford, who has been general manger for the airline’s Heathrow operations since 1999, will be responsible for customer services at the ten airports across Europe from which American operates transatlantic services.
Langford replaces Joe Phelan, a 25-year veteran of American Airlines who has left the airline to join a US-based logistics company.
Meanwhile, the Jamaica Tourist Board has appointed Marcia Bullock as regional director of groups and conventions.
Bullock will be responsible for growing the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events market worldwide with the goal of positioning Jamaica as the preferred Caribbean destination for planners in the UK, Europe and North and South America.
