Outdoor Sports Publishing Pty Ltd. – publisher of Australia’s highest-circulating audited golf publication, Inside Social Golf, has announced the September launch of Inside Travel magazine, a travel and lifestyle publication written for Australian travellers and families.

Distributed free to consumers via a network of coffeehouses and travel-related businesses throughout Australia, the publication will cater to four key Australian travel segments: sport travel, family travel, adventure travel and leisure travel.

Written by a team of respected Australian writers and award-winning photojournalists, the 36-page, full-colour magazine will also feature a significant amount of reader-submitted content from the publication’s website, www.insidetravel.com.au, ensuring that the “voice” of the publication stays fresh, engaging and relevant.

Sam Arthur, Publisher said, â€œWe’re thrilled to bring this high-quality travel publication to the Australian market.”

“Building upon the great success of our flagship publication – Inside Social Golf – we hope to deliver the same level of quality, value and ROI to our Inside Travel advertisers and partners.”

Richard Fellner, Group Editor said, â€œAs an avid sports traveller, adventurer, and father of two, I often struggled to find a travel magazine that covered the topics and destinations that appeal to me.”  “Like, where are Australia’s most family-friendly resorts and hotels?”  “What are the top golf, fishing or hiking destinations in our hemisphere?”  And where are the more off-beat, exotic and unique travel locations across the world?”

“Now, with Inside Travel, we can answer these questions, and share them with fellow Australian travellers.”

Originally published as a destinations section within Inside Social Golf, the Inside Travel section gained instant popularity among the magazine’s core readers.

Now, as a bi-monthly standalone publication, the magazine’s content will expand to include local and international destinations, feature travel pieces, competitions, reader-submitted content, equipment/gear reviews and travel tips and resources.

Open Call for Interviews, Profiles, Ideas and Partnerships

The magazine’s editorial department is currently accepting proposals & ideas from industry-related businesses for interviews, profile pieces and feature stories.

Ideas would preferably fit within one of the magazine’s four niche areas: Leisure Travel (Daytrips, spas, resorts, wineries, bed & breakfasts, etc), Sport Travel (Golf, fishing, rugby/footy tours, biking, kayaking, hiking, etc), Adventure Travel (Exotic journeys, eco/sustainable/green-travel, safari tours, treks, etc) and Family Travel (family/children/pet-friendly accommodation and activities.)

In addition, the publisher has announced introductory/early-bird advertising rates and preferred placement for travel industry advertisers wishing to market their brands and specials to the magazine’s readership.
