New boutique hotel opening in Rotorua – May 2006
Accolades Boutique Hotel has been built :
– First, in one of Rotorua’s premier locations with panorama on all sides, including a breathtaking vista across the entirety of Lake Rotorua, and its hinterland
– Secondly, on a scale which not only provides large spacious rooms and public areas but provides guests with a variety of living, reading, activity areas, all of which open onto expansive decks

The hotel will open with 4 bedrooms, all ensuite in May 2006 with an additional 4 rooms available in October 2006.
The grounds are extensively planted with native trees and dramatic volcanic boulders accentuate the natural surroundings of this adventure playground that is Rotorua, a place sought after by fishermen, trampers, mountain bikers and golfers with many other sightseeing activities and excellent shopping. The property is semi city/rural with horses and cattle grazing nearby.
Guests can be assured that presentation and hosting of this beautiful new boutique hotel will be at the top level as the hotel is owned by Michael Kelly and Rae McGill- also owners of the exquisite Lodge@199 on the edge of Lake Tarawera, Rotorua.
Michael and Rae were previously the owners of Mountvista Boutique Hotel in Queenstown and have a reputation of providing only the very best in tourism services.
The hotel is located past Rotorua airport, 300 meters down the Whakatane Road. Complimentary airport and city transfers are provided in the tariff.
