New Caledonia Specialist Agent drives away with a Peugeot 206CC
New Caledonia Tourism has announced Archy Arushanyan of Flight Centre Norwest as the winner of the New Caledonia Specialist Agent incentive, making him the proud owner of a funky new Peugeot 206CC, worth almost $40,000.
Since promoting the agents’ competition last August at the launch of the New Caledonia Specialist Agent program, 500 consultants have now registered to become specialist agents.
New Caledonia Tourism Manager Australia, Diane Moynihan [Pictured with Archy above] said the organisation was thrilled with the response to the incentive which was further bolstered by New Caledonia’s first ever ‘2 for 1’ sale in January.
“I’m only too happy to hand over the car keys to someone as equally passionate about the destination as we are,” she said
“Archy is excited about New Caledonia which is what our Specialist Agents Program and this incentive is all about – it’s about getting agents engaged with New Caledonia and in turn allowing us to reward our strongest supporters like Archy in ways that extend beyond the usual famil visit.”
As a member of the New Caledonia Specialist Agents Program, Arushanyan fell in love with New Caledonia in May 2006 when he visited for the first time with a number of other specialist agents.
“I’m very passionate about the destination. For me, it wasn’t about winning the car – I would have sold New Caledonia packages regardless of the incentive. This is just a fantastic bonus!” he said
“The positive feedback I have received about the destination has allowed me to build great rapport with my clients. For example, I recommended Isle of Pines to a couple who wanted to take a 10 day trip for their anniversary. They absolutely loved their holiday and said that the service and food were second to none.”
Agents qualified for the Peugeot 206CC incentive by signing up to the New Caledonia Specialist Agent Program, attending a Roadshow and selling all-inclusive air and land packages to New Caledonia for extra tickets into the draw.
