New CEO appointed at Visit USA UK
The Visit USA UK Association has appointed Kate Kenward as new CEO.
She brings almost 30 years’ travel industry experience in association leadership, destination marketing, PR and promotions.
For the past 18 months, Kate worked as a board director for ATTA (African Travel & Tourism Association) and in the last six months as their managing director.
Prior to this she undertook the executive director role at AITO for 11 years, raising their profile while leading their strategic and digital transformation.
As consumer interest in travel to the US surges post pandemic, she will be tasked with ensuring that the association remains visible and relevant, and attracting new members and associate members.
Julie Greenhill, Chair of the Visit USA UK Board said: “This is an exciting time for the Visit USA UK, we welcome Kate’s breadth of association and tourism experience and look forward to raising the Visit USA UK’s profile under her leadership.”
