New CIM Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Marketing – now on sale
Following a 3 month review period, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has relaunched its specialist marketing Diploma for the industry.
The CIM remains the world’s leading marketing membership organisation, with over 50,000 members worldwide. Its reputation for professonal marketing qualifications is second to none. The new Diploma:
• encompasses not only travel and tourism, but hospitality too
• is more practical than ever with a focus on the promotional mix ie advertising, PR, online etc
• is assessed completely by work-related projects (no exams)
• is led by Capela’s travel specialist tutors
Two specialist travel industry and one marketing communications module make up the course: Tourist Behaviour & Motivation; Hospitality & Services Marketing; and Marketing & Consumer Behaviour.
Prospective candidates can sign up for the course during August and September in order to join the October tutorials in London and Manchester. Entry is through academic achievement such as (any) degree or similar, or by a record of relevant experience in either marketing, hospitality or tourism.
