New Etihad GM for Indonesia
Etihad Airways has appointed Iwan Kip as new general manager for Indonesia, based in Jakarta.
Kip will report to Lindsay White, vice president for Asia Pacific South and Australasia and has a decade of experience in airline and hospitality sales and marketing.
He takes up the Jakarta position following two years as Etihad manager of direct sales and operations in the Netherlands.
"Iwan has a strong record of success in industry sales and marketing and his contribution to our start-up in the Netherlands over the past two years has been considerable," said Etihad Airways’ Senior Vice President Sales, Jim Mueller.
"In the role of general manager, Iwan will play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our business in Indonesia."
Etihad began flying to Indonesia almost a decade ago and currently operates 14 weekly flights from Jakarta to its Abu Dhabi hub.
