New flights on Southwest connect Des Moines to Chicago
Southwest Airlines has announced new service at Des Moines International Airport (DSM).
Two daily departures from DSM to Chicago Midway International airport on the airline’s AirTran carrier now connect Iowa passengers to international service and about 75 destinations, worldwide.
The airline says that increased passenger load on its larger Boeing 737 aircraft will also increase passenger seat availability nearly 200 percent up from 100 seats per day to 274 seats per day, seven days a week.
