New Friendly way to book a cruise
Friendly Planet Travel has introduced a new booking engine that offers a wide variety of cruise options on five popular cruise lines at what they term “bargain prices.”
They also include many features such as on board credits and free cabin upgrades.
“Now, travelers can choose from Friendly Planet’s ever growing inventory of escorted tour packages, or they can custom build their own vacation at any time, duration or price by using a new, dynamic cruise engine on the Friendly Planet website,” the site says.
The new engine is complimented by an air, hotel and car rental engine that allows travelers to easily book flights as well as pre- and post-cruise arrangements.
"As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, we wanted to introduce customizable travel services via a self-service application that allows travelers to craft exactly the trip they want,” said Peggy Goldman, president of Friendly.
Friendly Planet’s tour builder allows travelers to build their vacation by searching 5,000 separately discounted cruise departures on over 10,000 cruises offered by Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Azamara, Celebrity and Carnival cruise lines.
The site also allows a search through a database of thousands of flights to any destination, plus thousands of hotels and car rentals.
