New global destination management company announced at AIME
Ovation Global DMC, the world’s first global, wholly-owned DMC organisation, is today announcing its launch to the Asia Pacific meetings and incentive market at the global events show AIME 2008 in Melbourne.
Ovation Global DMC is the world’s first and only professional organisation offering consistent world class destination management services at over 12 local destination locations throughout the EU and Gulf States of the Middle East.
This announcement represents an ambitious expansion for the Ovation brand established by industry veterans Patrick Delaney and Pádraic Gilligan in Ireland a decade ago to service the North American market.
This new development draws on the experience of expert local teams in delivering high touch incentive and corporate meeting programmes all around Europe and the Middle East.
Memberships and awards from SITE, ISES and MPI are testament to the company’s expertise in the field of destination management.
Commenting on the launch, the company’s Managing Director Patrick Delaney said, “Ovation Global will redefine the concept of destination management services by creating a truly professional global organisation run by people who intimately understand the logistical, creative and strategic requirements of meetings, events and incentive travel planners”.
Joint Managing Director Pádraic Gilligan added, “At a time when corporations and associations are consolidating their spends and working with fewer, more strategically selected partners, Ovation Global DMC offers the benefits of one-stop-shop, single invoicing over 12 key MICE destinations coupled with consistency in customer service and delivery”.
Ovation will operate initially in Abu Dhabi/Dubai, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Switzerland and the UK with immediate effect.
Offices will open in Austria, China, India and Portugal during 2008.
