New global operations VP named at Priceline
Maelle Gavet has joined online travel giant Priceline as new executive vice president, global operations.
Gavet starts on July 6 and will have overall responsibility for global strategy for all Priceline Group brands including Booking.com, priceline.com, KAYAK, agoda.com, rentalcars.com and OpenTable.
She will be based in Amsterdam, where the company’s top performer Booking.com is headquartered and will be a member of the Group Management board.
Well traveled Gavet was previously CEO of Russian e-commerce business OZON and prior to this,was a principal at The Boston Consulting Group, with posts in France, the UK, South Africa and India.
Maelle brings great leadership expertise in digital technology and e-commerce," said Darren Huston, President and CEO of The Priceline Group.
