New group CEO appointed at Millennium Hotels
Amid trying times for the hotel industry, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels has named Clarence Tan as its new group chief executive officer.
He was appointed by the board of parent City Developments Limited which said the ‘timely appointment will offer stability to M&C at a time when the covid-19 pandemic has significantly affected the global hospitality industry.’
Tan joins CDL from InterContinental Hotels Group, where he served as MD for Southeast Asia and Korea.
"With teamwork and the right strategies, I believe that we will be able to overcome this difficult period and set a firm foundation to further grow our hospitality business," Tan said.
