A stalking horse has arrived on the scene in the race to purchase holiday camp operator Pontin’s.
Weekend reports reveal London-based boutique asset management business Bluebird Partners has joined the 10 bidders for the iconic UK holiday brand.
Pontins, which has parks at Southport, Somerset, Sussex and north Wales, went into administration last November owing £47.6m but has continued to trade as administrators KPMG look to organise a sale.
It is thought the successful buyer will be announced within the next few weeks.
