New hotels added to tour operator’s Senegal Programme

Further to the success of Serenity Holidays’ expanded holiday and flight programme to Senegal, the tour operator is pleased to announce a further 3 hotels have been added to its specialist brand – ‘The Senegal Experience’, with details available on its website.

The Royal Decameron Baobab Resort (4 grade) in Saly opened in December 2008 and is an elegant all-inclusive hotel set in an idyllic location; nestled between a sandy beach and the La Somone lagoon. Accommodation is largely in spacious bungalows, many overlooking the beach and, along with an all-inclusive dining and drinks package; there are many activities on offer including fishing trips and scuba diving.

The Delta Niominka hotel (3.5 grade) offers the perfect setting; situated on a picturesque island and just a short boat ride from the mainland at the mouth of the Sine Saloum Delta, an area of natural beauty and a UNESCO heritage site. Delta Niominka offers guests the best of both worlds with beautiful sandy beaches bordering a blue ocean and the delights of the nearby rivers and bolongs of the Delta.

Hotel Neptune (4 grade) is located in Saly and offers a good standard of accommodation with a range of facilities to suit all tastes. Set amongst colourful, tropical gardens, its impressive 400m2 fresh water swimming pool is the main hub of activity for guests, while the hotel’s own private beach is only a stone’s throw away.

Holidays at both The Royal Decameron Baobab Resort and Delta Niominka hotel are available now, while holidays at Hotel Neptune are available from 01 November 09.

The hotels compliment the wide range of accommodation available through The Senegal Experience which includes 5* luxury spa, unique waterfront lodges, enchanting tree houses set in splendid baobab trees, as well as opulent suites overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Current season holiday prices start from £799 (departing March 09) based on 7 nights half board at the Hotel Royam in Saly inclusive of flights, transfers and airport taxes. Twice weekly scheduled flights are offered from Birmingham and Manchester plus Gatwick with Brussels Airlines and operate via Brussels.

Winter 09/10 holidays are also on sale now and for bookings made by the end of February (09), The Senegal Experience is waiving the £50 flight supplement applicable to Saturday departures.
