New look planned for Qantas front line staff
Qantas is developing a new “distinctively Australian “ uniform for its cabin crew and ground staff.
The airline will talk to a range of Australian designers over the next few months before selecting a designer early next year.
“Qantas cabin crew and ground staff are the face of the airline and the new uniform will have a fresh and contemporary style,†said Qantas CEO Alan Joyce.
The new uniform will replace the existing uniform designed by Peter Morrissey, which was introduced in 2003 and updated in 2008.
The project is expected to take about two years.
