New marketing chief for WEXAS
Tailor-made and luxury travel specialist WEXAS has appointed Sarah Strang as marketing director.
Strang, formerly head of marketing at iglu.com, replaces George Gibb who has joined Hideaways.
"Sarah will play a key role in further developing our online competence as we expand the leisure business," said WEXAS MD Steve Allen.
The company has recently moved three departments into one new office on London’s Southbank.
Before that, its head office and leisure team was in Knightsbridge office, travel management was in Clerkenwell and its cruise arm, Luxury Cruise Company, was in Hove, East Sussex.
"We have lowered our costs and got a much smarter office which we have created to our design and specification. We’ve taken the opportunity to buy all new furniture and upgrade our IT infrastructure too," said Allen.
"We have room to grow, and this will depend on how our plans develop in the months ahead. Right now we have one vacancy in the leisure tailor-made sales team."
