New MD of JacTravel’s DMC European division named
B2B accommodation provider WebBeds has appointed Karen Robertson as managing director of JacTravel’s DMC Division in Europe.
Robertson has been part of the senior management team at JacTravel since 2004.
She takes on the role from her previous position as director of product and marketing.
"It’s a hugely exciting time for the DMC business now that we are part of the wider WebBeds organisation," she said. "We are fully focused on carrying on the good work that has facilitated our growth over the recent years whilst at the same time taking advantage of the scale and opportunities that the expanded WebBeds network offers our clients and suppliers alike."
Nigel Horne, CEO of WebBeds in Europe, added: "We are delighted that Karen has accepted the role of managing director. The wealth of experience that she brings is invaluable and she has played an integral part in the growth and innovation that the JacTravel DMC team have delivered in recent years.

The DMC division has offices in London, Edinburgh, Dublin and Cluj-Napoca, with sales teams also based in Germany, France, China and North and South America.
The London-based team will soon be moving into a new, dedicated facility located near the existing premises in Hammersmith.
