New Ryanair Malta flights take off at Glasgow Airport
A new twice-weekly service to Malta with Ryanair has taken off this week for the first time from Glasgow Airport.
The airport has hailed the new airlift which operates on Tuesday and Saturday, and is Ryanair’s seventh route from Glasgow.
It joins the airline’s current destinations of Alicante, Brussels, Dublin, Krakow, Malaga, and Wroclaw.
Mark Beveridge, MD, Glasgow Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome Ryanair’s new direct service. This new connection to Malta will provide our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience when travelling to one of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after destinations.”
“This further strengthens Glasgow Airport’s connectivity for short breaks, week-long stays, or extended getaways.”
It follows a new Ryanair route launched this week to Krakow at sister airport Aberdeen
Glasgow Airport is owned and operated by AGS Airports along with Aberdeen and Southampton Airports.
