Trend: On-Line travel start-up blow marketing budget on viral!

Can a small travel start-up with almost no budget launch a video and become as big as the Evian Roller Babies viral?…..With some help, maybe it can! Please take a look at the video: www.youtube/BeMyGuestBerlin

This is an exclusive preview of the first video from a series of 5 which will be launched tomorrow. It depicts holiday makers, Charlie and Susan and throws together the idea of the contrasting expectations between certain men and woman on holiday! In this first video Susan’s hoping for a lovely, relaxing time in their Berlin holiday apartment, but Charlie has other ideas. He feels as much at home there as he does in his own apartment and doesn’t see fit to change his behaviour, even on their trip to Berlin! So the motto is to ‘book your Berlin holiday apartment through Be-My-Guest.com and ‘Feel at home in Berlin!’ Sarah Braimah

The Danish Tourist board recently got into major trouble for it, by faking a video depicting a woman looking for the father of her baby. Evian Roller “hip-hop“ babies danced for it. Part of their success for sure was due to the fact they had huge budgets for the video concepts, production, seeding, blogging and promotion.

In contrast www.Be-My-Guest.com is an on-line holiday apartment portal for Berlin, launched by two British entrepeneurs, now living in Berlin with a passion for social media. Using only their tenacity, imagination, favour pulling persuassion skills and money from their own pockets, they planned to produce and promote a video which they now think is funny enough to go viral. They are hoping that all their friends will help their experiment succeed by getting the word out. „ we are hoping that people will become aware of our presence and if we make a few people laugh along the way too, then we will be really happy “ George Watts

Be-My-Guest are also asking the public to upload a video response/mash-up to their tube channel, www.youtube/BeMyGuestBerlin. The most entertaining one, will be featured on the homepage of their website and on their twitter and facebook pages.

If you love/hate the video, or maybe you can relate to it a little too much, please feel free to link to it at; www.youtube/BeMyGuestBerlin and make a comment!
