New technology cuts Club 18-30 website booking times
An online holiday search and booking functionality has been incorporated into a new website for Club 18-30.
Leisure travel booking technology provider Multicom’s FindAndBook system is now powering the booking engine on Thomas Cook’s new Club 18-30 website, www.club18-30.com, designed by Saatchi & Saatchi X.
FindAndBook enables the youth operator to sell both standard seven and 14-night packages as well as tailor-made holidays of alternative durations and “significantly reduces” booking times, Multicom claims.
As a result Club 18-30 is forecasting a 10% rise in incremental business from online bookings by this time next year.
A trade login function allows agents to access an exclusive area of the website using their ABTA number and password. From here, agents can make commissionable bookings with Club 18-30 online.
The operator’s head of worldwide sales Stephen Vaughan said: “Multicom’s FindandBook function provided us with a one-stop booking solution that enables our customers the ultimate in flexibility, so they can enjoy the Club 18-30 experience for any duration they choose and from any departure point – a massive plus for Club 18-30, the trade and the consumer.”
Multicom managing director Rob Howell added: “The Club 18-30 website is one of our biggest accomplishments. Working alongside Saatchi & Saatchi X on behalf of Thomas Cook and Club 18-30, we created a functional website that will see agent, customer search and booking times significantly reduced.”
