New Technology Guide at Eyefortravel

Saturday, 31 May, 2005 0

A new edition of the SourceIT-Travel Technology Guide is being printed exclusively for next week’s Eyefortravel Travel Distribution Summit.

First published in January 2005, the Eyefortravel edition has over 50 new suppliers. The Guide is sponsored by Equinus, the travel technology consultancy, and will be available at the Eyefortravel Summit being held in London on 7th & 8th June. The new edition includes supplier reviews written by Equinus together with an Eyefortravel preview.

Bob Stockwell of SourceIT-Travel.com commented: “With nearly 600 suppliers and 900 technology products, the Guide is an important reference for anyone looking to implement travel technology. It complements the online directory and has proved popular, especially with overseas customers. In just a few months it has grown by more than 10% with new suppliers offering E-Commerce, Payments Services, Hospitality, Business Support and Professional Services. We are seeing a marked increase in companies supporting online distribution, particularly accommodation providers. Whilst we are familiar with Easyjet and Ryanair, when it comes to finding accommodation there’s much more to choose and this is where we are seeing a lot of technology growth.”

The Guide is available from Eyefortravel’s free Advice Clinic sponsored by SourceIT-Travel.com. Priced at GBP 49, visitors can get a copy for just GBP 25. Anyone pre-booking an Advice Clinic session will automatically receive a free copy of the 76-page Guide. Advice Clinic bookings can be made by email to [email protected].

More information can be found on www.SourceIT-Travel.com where the Guide can be bought online.
