New trade sales executive for Bourne Leisure
UK holiday specialist Bourne Leisure has appointed Craig Secker to the role of trade sales executive for the south of England.
Starting this week, Secker will host managers meetings and regional store visits, as well as take responsibility for implementing Bourne Leisure’s interactive training sessions designed to create awareness of its three brands: Butlin’s, Haven and Warner Leisure Hotels.
Secker brings four years of industry experience to the role having been a travel consultant at Club Med since 2017 and prior to that a travel consultant at Scott Dunn and a customer sales agent for Newmarket Holidays.
His remit as trade sales executive will move Secker to a more face to face role.
"During the last four years I have fallen in love with the travel industry," said Secker.
"My ambition for some time has been to move away from my reservations background and into a more face to face role – this position at Bourne Leisure presents the perfect opportunity for me and I’m truly excited to be joining the team.
"Bourne Leisure’s three brands offer variety, they have lots of exciting developments and I hope to be able to bring my personality to the team to help convey this info successfully to the trade."
National sales manager Louise Tansey added: "The growth of our trade sales team represents an exciting time for our brands and we’re delighted to have Craig onboard. His skills and experience will be valuable in terms of us continuing to develop out training techniques and supporting all our agents."
