New twist to travel
A new message from JetBLue Airways to its passengers: relax, stretch and breathe. The low-cost carrier has teamed with Crunch Fitness International to start its “Flying Pilates” program. The airline’s seat pockets have been provided with cards showing four Yoga-style “Pilates” moves, all of which can be done while remaining seated in the airplane. The New York-based airline in early May plans to host a relaxation lounge at the carrier’s JFK outlet. There will be demonstrations to encourage fliers to relieve stress through exercise. –Report by David Wilkening–
