A new website is bringing 135 UK local and regional tourist boards together in one place to help make “staycation” planning easier.
Regions such as Devon, The Lake District and Cornwall are featured, plus resorts like Blackpool, Eastbourne and Great Yarmouth.
Less well-known destinations are included such as Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, Portsmouth and the Heart of Kent.
The site at www.bitesizebritain.co.uk features searches by county and location or through key words such as beaches, walking and shopping.
Up to six brochures can be ordered using an online form.
Web links and phone numbers for 135 local tourist boards are featured.
Bitesize Britain’s Paul Raybould said: “Users can also be confident that the featured accommodation is officially graded and inspected.”
