New website offers travel and fashion tips for busy career women
Amelia Earhart, known as ‘Millie’ in her childhood, was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1928 and with her feistiness, incredible sense of adventure and great courage, she still manages to inspire women travellers generations later.
The latest to be inspired is Victoria Ugarte, who has launched a new style and travel website for today’s modern woman called ‘Postcards from Millie’ – www.postcardsfrommillie.com
With nearly thirty years experience in the fashion industry and travelling the world, Victoria knows something of the joys and challenges of travelling as a career woman.
“I realized that while today’s woman does a lot more travelling now for work and pleasure, there is still a need to know how to do it better!â€
“Knowledge of how to find the best shopping in Madrid or Bangkok, or the best restaurants and hotels, or even access to a unique travel experience to unwind, this is all valuable information for the woman who has limited time to check it out for herself,†she says.
“Postcards From Millie is a website that can do just that.” “I bring all the tips and contacts across my years of travelling in the fashion industry to the internet for easy access.â€
The website offers travel tips, places to go and products that can stand the rigorous pace of travel. As well, travel bookings can be made there; and it also features fascinating articles written by interesting and prominent women who share their unique travel experiences.
We are sure Amelia would have loved the idea of travelling in the style of our generation, enjoying loads of adventure, but being supported by the best products and services!
And so it is in the spirit of adventure that Victoria has unveiled… Postcards From Millie, style that travels with you!
