New Website Tripbot.com Provides Travel Businesses With Social-Network
Tripbot.com is a travel community website that connects travelers with other travelers and travel businesses such as travel agents, tour guides and cruise operators. The new website launched a public BETA site on July 3rd, 2008.
Tripbot is the first website to provide a meaningful way for travel businesses to list and then promote their tours, properties, and travel packages in a social-networking environment. For example, travel agents can go to the website, build a profile and list all the items they would like to promote on the site by filling out forms and uploading photos. Travelers can then find those items, learn about them on Tripbot, then contact the travel agent for more information.
In the next few months, Tripbot will be launching more travel business marketing tools and profiling tools, such as a travel-business-specific profile page, links to the business profile from destination, hotel and activity pages that the travel business specializes in, and community building tools for travel businesses and their customers. Travelers will be able to find travel resources for the trips they take by using referrals through their friend and travel business networks.
Until the travel business tools are launched, travel businesses can start adding their tours, packages, accommodations, etc. to Tripbot.com.
