New winter home for Thomson Majesty
Thomson Majesty will be based out of Malaga from March 2014, a first for Thomson Cruise.
Customers booking a cruise sailing from Malaga will receive a free all-inclusive upgrade.
New itineraries on Thomson Majesty include a 14-night Jewels of the Mediterranean cruise from £1,099 per person, departing on 27 February 2014 from Luton airport. The cruise sails from Sharm El Sheikh through the Suez Canal, and visits ports in Greece, Italy, France and Spain, before finishing at Malaga.
Once based in Malaga, the ship will sail three other new itineraries – the seven-night Spirit of Iberia from £699 per person, a seven night Spanish Sensations cruise from £699 per person, and an eight-night Taste of Italy cruise on Thomson Majesty from £799 per person.
The Italy cruise includes Crotone, a new destination for Thomson.
Located on the ball of Italy’s foot, it was once one of the most powerful cities in the classical world but is now, according to Thomson "the now laidback home of gourmet restaurants and bars".
