Newmarket Holidays releases new 2023 festive tours
Escorted tour operator Newmarket Holidays has launched two new Christmas tours for 2023 at home and abroad.
They feature a stay in grand Victorian house in the Peak District and the festivities of Hamburg at Christmas.
In addition, following an increase in solo bookings, five other existing winter tours are now available to book without a single supplement fee.
The new six-day Christmas in the Peak District tour is based at the grand Palace Hotel Buxton in the heart of the Peak District.
It includes a tour of Chatsworth House, a Grade I-listed property dating back to the 17th century.
There is a Christmas Eve walking tour of the charming thermal spa town of Buxton and a visit to the market town of Bakewell best known for its famous tart.
Guests have the option to attend Midnight Mass at a local church in the evening.
There is also an optional Peak District National Park walk on day five before a farewell dinner with evening entertainment.
Tour dates are 22 to 27 December 2023.
Also new is the four-day Hamburg Christmas Markets tour.
The festive streets of Hamburg boast over 30 markets selling crafts, trinkets and foods.
Guests stay at the centrally located NH Hamburg Altona.
The festive tour highlights include visits to Ghesenmarkt Square, Town Hall Square, Spitalerstraße and Gerhart-Hauptmann-Platz which has iconic wooden cabins.
The includes a cruise across Hamburg’s harbor.
There is an option to join a tour of Lübeck, a medieval old town and Germany’s most extensive UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Departures are on the 8 and 15 December 2023 from Manchester and London.
Following the popularity of the recently launched Solo Traveller Collection, five of Newmarket Holidays’ existing popular festive tours are now available to book with no single supplement.
These are Christmas in Verona and Lake Garda, Christmas in the Austria Tyrol, Krakow Christmas Markets, Edinburgh Christmas Markets and Swiss Christmas Markets.
