No capacity for 2008 “a mythâ€, says Trafalgar Uniworld
Trafalgar Uniworld is reminding agents that, despite the popular misconception that there is no capacity left for 2008 river cruising, it still has space available on a number of its fantastic itineraries.
Paul McGrath, managing director of Trafalgar Uniworld said, “Feedback from many agents suggests that the majority of the industry believes river cruising is totally sold out for 2008 already. This is simply not the case. With the popularity of river cruising surging at the moment, agents still have the opportunity to capitalise on this high level of interest and close some sales for 2008.
“Because we own 100 per cent capacity on our fleet of 13 vessels, along with the fact that we have 26 itineraries with several hundred departures dates within the program, we still have availability for clients looking for a European river cruise in 2008.
“Trafalgar Uniworld has some fascinating and diverse itineraries on offer, such as the 10-day Douro Valley cruise, a gourmet voyage through Portugal and into Spain. It is the best-kept secret in European river cruising, and offers something unique to those looking for a food, wine and cultural treat.
“Additionally, the 13-day Legendary Rhine & Moselle, sailing between Amsterdam and Basel, is a fantastic option. Clients will enjoy the colourful canals of the Netherlands, the picturesque Rhine Valley, and the charming villages, vineyards and Roman ruins of the Moselle Valley, plus so much more. This trip can also be a perfect add-on for clients taking a trip to the romantic city of Paris.â€
Trafalgar Uniworld’s quality of product remains unsurpassed within the Australian market place, demonstrated by the recent announcement that Uniworld has been voted 6th Best Small Ship in the prestigious US Condé Nast Traveler Top 100 Readers’ Choice Awards, as well as being awarded Gold List status by Conde Nast Traveler, the ultimate accolade in the travel and hospitality industry.
