No chicken lickin’ on MAS flights ex China
SUBANG – Following the Malaysian government’s indefinite ban on chicken imports from China, Malaysia Airlines has removed chicken from its inflight menu for flights out of China.
Instead, fish, mixed seafood and beef will be served, depending on sectors.
However, chicken will remain on the menu for flights out of Malaysia, as the meat is sourced from farms in Malaysia.
China had reported a total of six cases of H5N1 bird flu virus this year, with the latest being the death of an 18-year-old youth in the South China province on Jan 26.
