No frills carrier eyes futher Glasgow routes
Easyjet may further expand its Glasgow operation if its new Berlin route is successful, the carrier has said.
Communications director Toby Nicol, quoted in the Glasgow Herald, said other short break destinations of Paris, Madrid, Barcelona and Milan could follow by the end of the year.
He described Berlin as a “toe in the water” of the city break market.
BAA meanwhile is continuing to actively lobby easyjet to continue its expansion from Glasgow.
The no frills airline will start daily Berlin services on May 3.
